One last day in Phnom Phen befor we head for the coast. We have had a great time in Cambodia's capital, the food is very good, the people are amazingly friendly and the sights have been amazing (although somber at times).
We went to the killing fields and the genocide museum yesterday, it left us both feeling pretty low. Its so hard to see what humans a capable of doing to there fellow man. Today we are off to see the Royal Palace and silver pagoda. We will also try to get a massage at the seeing hands massage parlor, they are all blind Cambodians who have learned massage.
Tomorrow we head of to sihnoukville (sp?), the main coastal city in cambodia. From there we are planning on hopping over to of the many small islands that are just of the coast. Some much needed beach time is well over due at this point. We are hoping for another smooth bus trip.
We will let you know how our fun in the sun goes in a couple of days. Hope you are still enjoying the olympics, looks like we are doing okay so far. Take care all of you, all our love.
P.S. sorry for the lack of pictures, the computers in cambodia are very slow. Hope you enjoy these ones.
